50 years of British art lies in ashes



Having been very busy with a visitor this past week I almost missed the big fire that destroyed “a vast swath of British art spanning the past half century, including more than 50 major works by the great abstract painter Patrick Heron.” (story) There are photos of some of the lost art work here.
